CONNECT is the Central Denmark Region's research support unit (datastøttecenter) promoting the use of personalized medicine. The European Health Data Space (EHDS) is an initiative launched by the European Commission. The purpose is to create an IT infrastructure making it possible to share and use health data for research, healthcare, and innovation across the EU.
CONNECT is one of the Danish contributors to the EHDS2 Pilot together with the Danish Health Data Authority. In the pilot project, 17 collaborators from across the EU will build a test version of the EHDS.
