Profile

I have a master’s degree in public health sciences and am a PhD student at the National Centre for Register-based Research, Aarhus University. My work focuses on register-based epidemiology, particularly the mental health of children and adolescents, including mental disorders.

Job responsibilities

As a PhD student, I examine how the characteristics and long-term outcomes of children and adolescents with mental disorders—particularly ADHD and autism—have evolved over recent decades. I use large observational datasets to investigate both health-related and societal outcomes and apply epidemiological methods to account for changes in the population diagnosed over time. In addition, I teach medical students in epidemiology.
