As a researcher at Department of Clinical Epidemiology, I am concerned with improving population health and clinical care by using health data. I am particularly interested in infectious diseases, with a focus on urinary tract infections and their potential complications. I am also engaged in international collaborations that seek to improve the possibilities for using electronic health data for research. I'm a medical doctor with a PhD in clinical epidemiology from Aarhus University.
My primary area of responsibility is planning and conducting registry-based studies, currently focusing on infectious diseases and health inequalities. I also contribute to international research on vaccine safety.
As part of CONNECT, the data support unit in Central Denmark Region, I collaborate with partners across Europe to enhance the use of health data for research and innovation within the framework of the future European Health Data Space (EHDS).
