As Head of Department at the Department of Molecular Medicine (MOMA), Aarhus University Hospital, and Clinical Associate Professor at Aarhus University, I work with personalised medicine. I am particularly interested in clinical development and implementation and in using large datasets to generate new knowledge. I am a medical doctor with a PhD and have experience in building national genomic and data infrastructure. I chair the Danish National Council for Genomic Medicine.
My primary area of responsibility is the management of MOMA, which serves as both a clinical laboratory and a core facility for the healthcare system and the university. This includes strategy, research infrastructure and collaboration across hospitals and universities. I also lead national work on analytical methods and shared infrastructure in pharmacogenetics and support the development of national core infrastructures such as CellX and TORI.
