I am a medical doctor and PhD fellow at Aarhus University with a research focus on clinical trials and cardiovascular epidemiology. My PhD project evaluates sedation strategies for patients undergoing transoesophageal echocardiography-guided electrical cardioversion for atrial fibrillation. The project examines whether care can be organised more efficiently while maintaining safety and improving patient experience, with additional focus on healthcare resource use.
