I am a postdoc working in cancer epidemiology. My research focuses on breast cancer survivorship, in particular on adherence to cancer treatment and recurrence risk. I have a BSc in Nutrition and Health (VIA University College), an MSc in Health Science (Aarhus University), and a PhD (University of Oxford, UK), where I studied the association between metabolomics and prostate cancer risk.
I study the risk and consequences of cancer using data from Danish health and administrative registries. My research aims to understand who struggle to adhere to breast cancer treatment and the consequences of non-adherence; how common medication affect cancer risk and outcomes; and the lifestyles of cancer survivors. I also contribute to teaching and supervision of students, funding acquisition, and research dissemination.
