Profile

I am a postdoc at the Department of Clinical Epidemiology, holding a Master's degree in Statistics and a PhD in Health Sciences from Aarhus University. I have a strong interest in statistical methods within epidemiology and focus on using data effectively, whether through basic descriptive statistics or advanced statistical methods.

Research

In my research, I primarily use Danish registry data related to prediabetes, diabetes, and diabetes treatment guidelines. My focus is on methods for causal inferences in observational studies, applying techniques to enhance the reliability of our findings and advance our understanding of disease patterns and public health interventions. Additionally, I have conducted prediction studies to forecast health outcomes and inform about treatment strategies.

Job responsibilities

My primary area of responsibility is within research, and includes designing and conducting epidemiologic and methodologic studies, analyzing data, and interpreting results. Additionally, I am involved in updating and maintaining data sources, ensuring their accuracy and reliability. My role also involves collaborating with national and international research teams, publishing findings in scientific journals, and presenting at conferences.
