As a researcher, I am particularly interested in eating disorders and psychiatric illness in general. This includes both psychopathology, as well as assessment and treatment. I work with both cohort studies (clinical and register-based) and RCT studies and use both quantitative and qualitative methods. I am a trained psychologist and PhD and have worked clinically and research-wise with eating disorders and other psychiatric disorders since 1998.
My primary area of responsibility is reseach within clinical psychiatry in general and eating disorders specifically. In addition to my own research, I work as superviser for PhD students, medical and psykology students, psychologists in training, and have various tasks related to supporting research and clinical practice in child, adolescent and adult psychiatry in the Central Denmark Region.
