Grants for DCE

Three researchers at DCE have received funding for new projects

Clinical specialist Anne Sofie D. Laursen has received a grant of DKK 450,000 from the Central Denmark Region’s Research Fund for Health Science. The grant is for conducting the project “Environmental and behavioral risk factors for spontaneous abortion”.

Professor, chair Henrik Toft Sørensen has received a grant from the Independent Research Fund Denmark of DKK 172,800 to pay for a scholarship for a research year student to work on the project “Socioeconomic position and the risk and prognosis of venous thromboembolism following stroke – a population-based cohort study”.

Likewise, professor Alma B. Pedersen has received a grant from the Independent Research Fund Denmark of DKK 172,800 to pay for a scholarship for a research year student to work on the project “The interaction between hip fracture and multimorbidity on the risk of infection”.
