DCE part of new research centre on diabetes
Department of Clinical Epidemiology is part of a new strategic research centre on type 2 diabetes. The Centre will ensure collaboration between Danish experts in the field. The aim of the centre is to establish a national diabetes database and a bio bank and to investigate the effect of individualized medical treatment of diabetics. The Danish Strategic Research Council has awarded DKK 40 million for the new centre. Department of Clinical Epidemiology has hired computer scientist Tony Hanberg and post.doc. Henriette Horsdal to work on centre projects.
