Bo Christensen has been a general practitioner since 1992 and has been affiliated with Aarhus University since 1993. His research focuses on the role of general practice in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Since 2013, he has been professor of general practice at Department of Public Health.

Bo Christensen will contribute to strengthening the research in cardiovascular diseases at Department of Clinical Epidemiology.
