Inger Mechlenburg is an expert in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, holding a joint professorship at Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital. Her research focuses on hip and shoulder conditions and she has conducted numerous randomized clinical trials.
Her scholarly work includes 177 peer-reviewed papers, and she has also contributed to book chapters.
Prof. Mechlenburg has supervised 15 PhD projects, with five more in progress. She collaborates internationally with institutions like Kings College London, the University of Oxford, La Trobe University and Karolinska University Hospital on clinical trials for hip and shoulder diseases.
