Two large grants from the Danish Cancer Society
DCE has received funding from two of the Danish Cancer Society’s programs for research funding

Professor, chair Henrik Toft Sørensen has received a two-year grant of DKK 800,000 for the project ‘Effect of More versus Less Frequent Follow-Up Testing on Mortality in Patients with Stage II or III Colorectal Cancer: a 10-Year Follow-up of the COLOFOL Trial’.
Associate professor Deirdre Cronin-Fenton has received a three-year grant of DKK 1,950,000 for the project ‘Epidemiologic associations between obesity and cancer – treatment, comlications, and prognosis’. The funding has been granted as part of the Knæk cancer initiative’s category ‘inequality’.
