DCE researcher receives the Schroll Prize

Postdoc Cathrine Fonnesbech Hjorth was awarded the Schroll Prize for Excellence by the Danish Epidemiological Society at their fall meeting.

The prestigious award recognizes Cathrine Fonnesbech Hjorth’s outstanding contributions to epidemiological research, methods development or application, teaching, and dissemination at an early stage of her career.

The evaluation committee praised Cathrine’s significant impact in the fields of cancer and social epidemiology, particularly her work on measuring socioeconomic variables in health research. The committee further highlighted the impact Cathrine’s dedication and innovative approach have made on Danish epidemiological research.
