Saskia is a professor at the departments of Clinical Epidemiology and Biomedical Data Sciences at Leiden University Medical Center, the Netherlands. She is trained in mathematics at Utrecht University (MSc) and in medical statistics at Leiden University (PhD). The focus of her research is on epidemiological and statistical methods for observational studies. She is particularly interested in causal inference methods and meta-analysis.

Saskia le Cessie teaches "Meta-analysis" together with Olaf Dekkers on Wednesday, June 12 and Thursday, June 13.
